Fantastic!!! Couple opportunity for a Feedlot

 Feedlot manager Operator & Farm All Rounder

Two possibly three positions are available. All great opportunities to work in a vibrant work environment in Northern NSW, best suited to a working couple who have an interest in feedlot management and operation. We are looking for a person experienced in feedlot work including feeding, checking pens and keeping paperwork up to date. The second position is for an “all rounder” to assist the property manager with the daily running of the property and feedlot, including farming and cattle work.

The third position available is a general feedlot position helping with all facets of the daily running of the feedlot.

What's required?

The Feedlot is looking for two or three people.

  • Mechanically minded all rounder to help with farming and cattle husbandry and feedlot work. Assisting the Farm Manager with all mechanical aspects of the operation and be a general property running.
  • Feedlot Operator/manager - An extremely experienced feedlot person is required for this role. Must be able to attend to all facets of feedlot operation including feeding, checking pens, keeping up to date with the feedlot paperwork and the alibility to run a small feedlot of approximately 2,000 head of cattle.

 

  • They are also interested in a general station hand for the feedlot.

If you have feedlot, mechanical and farming experience, enjoy a busy working environment, have good work ethic, are reliable and punctual, have experience and knowledge of farming machinery and mechanical skills; leadership skills, excellent organisational skills, good interpersonal communication skills, be self motivated and hold a current drivers licence...this position is for you both!
